Cookie Policy for AI Remove Text

Effective date: July 19, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how remove-text.com uses cookies, browser storage, tags, and similar technologies. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

Technology Summary

| Service or purpose | Technology and data | Default and control | | --- | --- | --- | | Essential site functions | First-party cookies or local storage for authentication, security, language, interface state, and saved privacy choices | Always available because these functions are needed to provide the service. Signing out or browser controls can remove some values. | | Google Analytics 4 | Google tag, consent signals, page path and title, browser/device information, approximate IP-derived location, and interaction events; Analytics cookies are available only when analytics_storage is granted | EEA/UK/Switzerland and unknown locations default to denied. Other recognized locations default to granted, unless a saved opt-out or Global Privacy Control applies. Change this through Cookie Settings. | | Plausible-compatible analytics | A dedicated pa-*.js script from stat.remove-text.com, initialized once; aggregate page and feature events without analytics cookies | Runs independently on public pages as cookieless measurement. It is not switched by the Google Analytics storage control. | | Google One Tap | Google identity scripts and storage used to present and complete a sign-in flow when the feature is enabled | Controlled separately as an authentication feature. It is not enabled by accepting Google Analytics. You can dismiss the prompt or avoid Google sign-in. | | Customer support | User-initiated email | No embedded support widget is currently loaded. | | Google AdSense | Google advertising tag, consent/CMP signals, cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers when advertising is fully enabled | The tag remains off unless AdSense is enabled, the site is approved, a Google-certified CMP is ready, and the page is ad-eligible. Advertising consent is not controlled by the site's homemade Analytics panel. |

Google Consent Mode v2

The site sets these consent types before any Google Analytics configuration or event command:

Google Analytics uses advanced consent mode. In a denied state, the Google tag may send limited cookieless pings, but it does not use Analytics or advertising cookies for the denied purpose. Advertising consent types remain denied until they are updated through an appropriate external certified CMP.

Regional Defaults

The site is deployed on Vercel and uses Vercel's request geolocation country header. EEA, UK, and Swiss visitors require prior Analytics consent. An absent or invalid country result is treated the same way. For other recognized locations, Analytics storage follows the site's current default-with-opt-out policy and remains subject to your saved choice and recognized Global Privacy Control signal.

This technical grouping implements the current service policy for this site's providers; it is not a universal list of every jurisdiction with privacy requirements. We review the policy when providers, target markets, or applicable rules change.

Changing Your Choice

Use Cookie Settings in the footer to allow or deny Google Analytics storage. Your choice is saved in first-party local storage so it can be applied before later Google Analytics configuration. Clearing site data removes that saved choice. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, the site keeps Google Analytics storage and advertising consent signals denied even if an older saved preference says otherwise.

The Cookie Settings panel is a first-party Analytics control. It is not a Google-certified AdSense CMP. If AdSense is enabled later, the separate certified CMP will provide the legally and contractually required advertising choices.
